Brothers united in prayer, called to lead, to witness, and to keep the flame of our Catholic faith alive.
Brothers in Prayer is an open forum where men gather to pray the Rosary, grow in faith, and strengthen one another through true brotherhood and the grace of God.
We are a movement dedicated to forming spiritual warriors — men grounded in truth, guided by virtue, and committed to leading their families with courage and faith.
No matter where you are on your spiritual journey — whether it’s your first Rosary or a lifelong devotion — you are welcome here. Together, we bring prayer into public spaces, witness God’s mercy and healing, and become living examples of His love.
At the heart of our mission stand three pillars that draw us closer to Christ:
These are the foundation stones that align us with God’s grace and strengthen our resolve to live as faithful sons, husbands, and fathers — continually learning the Gospel, growing in virtue, and striving for holiness.
We are imperfect men living in an imperfect world. Yet with humility and strength, we commit daily to becoming better. When we fall, we rise again — and press forward.
We are not merely participants in prayer — we are conservators of our Catholic faith — preserving the sacred traditions handed down through generations and boldly proclaiming Christ’s presence in the world today.

The great promise Our Lady of Fatima
Our Lady promised to Sr. Lucia:
“I will assist at the hour of death, with the graces necessary for salvation, all those who, on the first Saturday of five consecutive months, go to Confession, receive Holy Communion, pray five decades of the Rosary, and keep me company for fifteen minutes while meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary, with the intention of making reparation.”
Armor Up. Take Your Post.
Print your copy of the Holy Rosary in Latin and join us on the first Saturday of every month.
“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”—

Experience the beauty and power of the Eucharistic Rosary Congress 2025, hosted at Star of the Sea Parish in San Francisco, California, from October 28 to November 4.
Eight days of continuous adoration, hourly rosaries, Solemn Masses, processions, and devotion to Our Lady of Fatima united hundreds of faithful from across California in prayer before Our Lord in the Eucharist.

On behalf of the Eucharistic Rosary Congress Team, we extend our deepest gratitude to every person whose dedication and love made the Eucharistic Rosary Congress at Star of the Sea a profound expression of faith, unity, and devotion to Our Lord and Our Blessed Mother.
To the Knights of Columbus for their donations, for your participation during the procession, and to Brother Bud, Ken, Michael and Adam—thank you for your steadfast support in loading and hauling the throne and base.
To The Dumlao Family for building rosary packets, and to Juan Carlos and Nicole—your generosity and contributions, including inviting Father Peter from Poland, enriched our Congress in beautiful ways.
Our sincere thanks to St. Patrick’s Seminary for your participation and reverence.
To Thelma and her team, thank you for lovingly adorning Our Lady of Fatima for the procession with such care and beauty.
To the entire Adoration Apostolate warriors, your commitment ensured that every hour of Adoration and every hour of the Rosary were filled throughout the Congress and beyond—your spiritual devotion was, and continues to be, a powerful blessing to all.
A heartfelt thank you to the Star of the Sea Rosary Makers, and to Kevin McLoon and his family for their generous rosary donations—these sacramentals touched countless souls.
To Karolina and the entire Star of the Sea Choir, thank you for elevating our liturgies with the timeless beauty of sacred music.
Special appreciation to Dr. Tietze, Jennifer Park, and the gifted Stella Maris Academy Choir for your unforgettable performances.
To the ERC Leaders—Laurie, whose coordination ensured the seamless organization of all hours of prayer, and Carmen, for managing multiple receptions and obtaining the procession permit with grace and diligence—thank you.
To all the individual Rosary warriors who signed up to lead a Mystery, your devotion and willingness to guide the faithful in prayer brought countless blessings upon this Congress. Many blessings to each of you.
A special word of gratitude to Father Joseph Illo and Father Javier Olivera Ravasi for your spiritual leadership, preaching, and presence throughout the Congress. Your guidance helped transform this event into a powerful moment of grace for our entire community.
Thank you as well to the Richmond District San Francisco Police Department for your presence and assistance in keeping all participants safe during the procession and events. Your support is deeply appreciated.
A very special thank you to the Star of the Sea rectory staff for assisting with printed materials, promoting the event, and ensuring posters, flyers, and all communications were distributed with care. Your behind-the-scenes service played a vital role in the success of this Congress.
Finally, our heartfelt thanks to Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone for granting Star of the Sea the honor of hosting a Solemn Pontifical Mass, and to the staff and security of St. Mary’s Cathedral for their coordination and guidance.
To all who prayed, served, volunteered, sang, decorated, organized, donated, or simply showed up with love—thank you.
May God reward your generosity a hundredfold.

That is not an automatic guarantee of heaven, but a promise of powerful final graces—especially:
The Stella Maris Choir performed an array of classical Gregorian pieces under the direction of Dr. Tietze and Jennifer Park, filling the church with heavenly harmony.

Christ calls men to rise, take up their cross, and stand as soldiers of faith. This is not a worldly battle but a spiritual one—a fight for souls, holiness, and the glory of God.
Fratres In Oratione is a brotherhood of men united in prayer, defending our families and deepening our faith through tradition. With confession as our shield and the Rosary as our sword and the holy mass as our anchor, where we encounter the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.
These are the foundation stones that keep us aligned with God’s grace and strengthen our resolve to live as faithful sons, husbands, and fathers..
This is a call to embrace the cross, fight for holiness, and rise as spiritual warriors.
"A man who is kind benefits himself, but a cruel man hurts himself."
Proverbs 11:17
Kindness is not softness—it is strength under command.
A man who rules himself in alignment with God’s will can stand firm without cruelty.
Love builds what force never can.
True masculinity brings peace because it has nothing to prove.

Saint Francis of Assisi showed that compassion can lift others in their lowest moments.

Example: Two men, John and Miguel, are on different paths—one ambitious but reckless, the other cautious but hesitant. Through their friendship, John learns to pause and reflect before acting, while Miguel gains the courage to step forward and take risks. Together, they sharpen each other, becoming stronger and wiser through their challenges and growth.

The Rosary is a powerful spiritual weapon, offering strength and protection through prayer.

"The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him."
— Proverbs 20:7
This speaks to a masculine strength rooted in integrity, where love is shown through faithfulness and leading by example. A man who is steadfast in his principles and lives honorably passes on a legacy of righteousness and blessing to his children, showing that true love is often seen in how you live and lead others with consistency and care.

In Catholicism, fathers are seen as spiritual leaders who guide their families with love and faith.
